Vintage Springfield Talking Weather Station

Vintage Springfield talking weather station no. 2204 thermometer barometer radio. The Radio only gives you local weather information, like weather of the week. Radio sound scratchy. It works fine. Need to turn in a certain direction to get proper reception. VERY COOL.  Comes with new battery. The unit measures 23 1/4" Long. The middle area measure 6.5" Wide. Has a nice brass topper. . I am baffled how the small radio weather unit works. How it is sable to give you local weather. I heard it say weekly weather. Very accurate.  Not sure how a small radio can be so accurate. Can not even get an app to do the same thing for free. In base on bottom, unit has a hole. Nothing missing. It is there to let air in. Super RARE Instrument. This nice piece is super clean, and all works on it.
