If you want the display on all the time, you will need to buy the power adapter for it. (It makes sense that the display turns off because otherwise it would discharge batteries very quickly.)
This is the only one I have.
I sometimes travel for work (where I sometimes find my treasures), so that is why I selected that it might take me 3 days to ship. If I am at home, I will ship ASAP.
