This METEOROLOGISCHE SATZ Vintage German Weather Station comes with instruments and a wooden latch case. Complete with a metal tripod labelled, the anemometer with registered scale, temperature gauges, a “Regen Schon” barometer made by Fischer, scale graph and lots of German language paperwork and charts.
Research has been found that it was thought to be a German RWD III Military Vintage Weather Station Set. It was thought to be used to check air and ground temperatures and wind speed to determine accurate variables for launching rockets.
The green painted box is 21 in. long, 10 1/2 in. wide and 5 1/2 in. high.
