Heathkit Weather Station

Heathkit replacement Temperature Sensor for the ID-1490, ID-4001, and ID-5001 weather stations.  You can easily replace the temperature sensor for your Heathkit weather station by keeping the existing cable going from the console to the temperature sensor.  No need to replace the cable, if there's nothing wrong with it.
New item, includes instructions, assembled sensor board, and thin-wall aluminum housing.  Seal it up using a silicon based  sealant; available at any hardware store.
Make sure you use a non-acid curing 'silicon seal'.  It has been brought to my attention that some lower priced 'silicon seals' (generic term) use an acid based curing agent.  These can be corrosive to electronic circuits.  To test:  put a small amount on a piece of paper and let it cure.  If it smells like vinegar, then it is an acid based curing agent.  Maybe you can also check with the manufacturer and see if that specific 'silicon seal' is acid based or not.
