We bought more than we needed.  T his is the same part as the MP X4115AP, but with the port on the side instead of on t op. Another nifty part. The output voltage changes as the surrounding air pressure changes. It's a trivial matter to read the voltage into a microcontroller (Arduino, Basic Stamp, PIC, etc) and convert that ADC reading into barometric pressure (and from there to altitude).
